I am buying a sony bravia 40″ LCD tv (klv-40v-550a). I am planning to mount it to the wall.
The viewing distance would be approximately 14 feet from the wall.At what height should i keep it so as to have the best & comfortable view, without straining the neck.

I’ve purchased a 27 inch LCD tv for my bedroom, and in order for it to be centered at the foot of the bed, I need to hang it between two studs. I realize I have to use the studs for the mounts, but is there a type of mount I can buy that will allow me to offset the tv? Thanks!
Got a new 26″ lcd on the way but it does not have the 4 vesa mounting holes on the back. Is there another way to hang it on the wall?
Thx
I believe it has only 1 screw hole in the center of the back panel but doubt that will be of no use.
I’ve read also in reviews about 1 of the cons for this model is no mounting options. Just wondering if there is another way.
