Many people have bought Polaroid HDTV’s. Around 2 years after purchase these tv’s malfunction. When I try to turn my tv on the blue light comes on but the picture does not. I googled some info on these and found a cheap fix. Instead of spending another $1000.00 on a new tv I only spent $3.40 on the parts needed. Its very simple to fix and I hope this saves you lots of money.

I know sooner or later the screen won’t work at all but will the computer still be running so I can hook it up a monitor?
But will the laptop completely break down with a cracked LCD?

What is the best way to clean an LCD screen?

The screen on my Laptop is an LCD display (the type without the glass overlay). I know that i can dust it off with a rag as long as I don’t apply pressure against the screen, but how can i clean spots on the screen? Will using ordinary glass cleaner harm an LCD surface? or are there specialized cleaning products out there just for LCD screens?

The outside glass is perfectly fine, but the inside screen [the lcd screen, I think] is shattered. Where can I buy just the lcd screen, and how do I repair this myself?

Some kid accidentally stepped on my toshiba laptop and the LCD screen broke. The laptop turns on properly but I can’t see anything on the completely dark LCD screen. Please could somebody help and tell me how I can fix this problem? Thanks a lot for your anticipated answers.

Not get it replaced online.
Like buy the lcd screen and install it myself.

I just purchased a 22″ Acer LCD monitor and I just figured how to let the monitor auto-adjust itself to my liking. However, there is still a “glare” to it that makes images more fuzzy. It really doesn’t bother me, but it could be sharper- and it’s a tad too bright. Would buying a privacy/anti-glare filter for my monitor help?
There is no source of light nearby, the glare is coming from the monitor itself!

I just want to know if watching LCD monitor (laptop) in dark hurts the eyes. Pleas tell me in deteil if possible.
Thank in advance.

The LCD TV in my room has the same screen the LCD monitor on the computer I am using right now has.
There is a plasma TV in the living room and I the screen feels and looks totally different.
