sony hdtv repair……….help?

hi, i have a question about my sony hdtv 55 inch\r\nit goes on and off, like on for 1 min then off 4 one min, and it keep doing that.
we notice, everytime it goes off, than fan stop, then when it goes on, da fan went back on.

It sound like the ballast module is intermittent and it cost $200.00 to $275.00 They are not that easy to replace so find a repairman. I have been repairing these types of sets for over 35 years. e.loyz@yahoo.com you can email me with the model number I may have one for your set.
