Problem with PS3 or the LCD TV??

I recently purchased my lcd tv.. its a samsung LA40F81BD im on hdmi connection on my ps3.the picture goes blairy for about 3 seconds before it actually load the whole picture of the game and sometimes it loads up about 2-3 times. my tv says "searching for signal" i just wanna know if its my ps3 or the tv..

its always the tv’s fault. the ps3 has no idea whats going on. so it will keep playing.

Hi guys! This is not the same problem as this guy.. I have a LCD tv and the color of a game on my ps3 actually burned in to my lcd tv..So when im playing a game i see some color my tv.. ( I dont have a plasma tv…) Please help me someone if u know something!!
your playstition keeps reebooting going in and out of menus by itself what do you think it is?

on your ps3 put the output settings to 720.
i had the same problem and now its fixed.
Mine does the same when exiting the game, with many green dots all around the screen
un plug your tv then plug it back in
i think its the hdmi cable i am not sure my ps3 works also good on my parents hdtv its 62inches Sony Bravia like yours its fucking crazy to play there any game

maybe his hdtv is broken or the hdmi port on the his hdtv is broken. My hdtv is Sony Bravia 62 inches 1080p full HD

he needs a bigger hdtv to play games on ps3

this is normal on samsung TV’s.. My samsung LCD does the same with the xbox 360… it may be something to do with the display changing to or from RGB
your tv is too small for ps3 so buy a bigger one

mine does this all the time
people sometimes it depends on the game that you are playing. for example the suppoted HD video output for GTA4 are 720p and 1080i. it will not be displayed on 1080p.
another example THE SUPPORTED HD video output for GRID are 576p and 720p. it will not be displayed on 1080i and 1080p.
it always does that at least for me
