I will never again buy tv without looking at the picture quality first. Jeeezz the picture quality of this tv is just awful. I first used the composite cable and it looked blurry and then I thought I should buy HDMI it will probably bring the picture more like CRT TV. Guess what nothing changed it all the same blurry picture. Another problem is that POWER BUTTON on TV is not working for some reason but the remote works perfectly.
If any of you have any suggestion for me please feel free to say it. It looks like I am not buy another tv unless it has the same crystal clear quality as the CRT tv has.

Purchased the predecessor to this current model, which appears to be the same with the addition of an IPOD dock. While I have no issues with picture, setup, etc., I certainly anticipated the tuner would last more than 18 months. I did not expect this from Panasonic and their curt response to my support email will cause me to choose another manufacturer in the future.

To set the scene: I’m using this TV in my 12′ x 12′ den, using an HDMI connection from the DVR I got from my cable company.
Like many of the recent reviews, I got this TV on a Gold Box deal on amazon. I bought it because it was an HDTV from a 1st-tier manufacturer that was cheaper than almost all of the 2nd, 3rd and even 4th tier makers. Saving money is important to me, but not at the expense of quality.
I’m thrilled, totally thrilled. The picture is very good… I’ve seen reviews that say it’s not good from an angle, but I’ve walked every inch of this room and I can’t complain about the picture from anywhere. The sound is a bit tinny, but the volume level is more than adequate… I can hear it from two rooms away even at 50% volume.
I think the TV itself is worth every penny, but the bonuses make it an even better value. It has an iPod dock that plays well with both my 6th generation iPod classic (in a plastic case) and my 3rd generation (32gb) iPod touch. The SD card slot also works well, showing my photographs at high quality (as another reviewer said, this set would be worth it just as a big digital picture frame).
All in all, this rates at a great purchase, even at the current price.

Just received this and I can’t understand some of the other reviewers that talked as though it was just thrown in a box and shipped. Mine came in the original Panasonic box- with everything including the batteries in pre formed styrofoam slots; it was perfect. I haven’t set it up yet but I must say after reading that, I was concerned that I was going to receive it just thrown in box being banged around during shipping, not the case at all. The television is beautiful, can’t wait to see what the picture and sound are like I don’t think I will be disappointed. Panasonic products are usually excellent as well as Amazon and what a great price!

This TV might be an improvement on your old TV, or it might not. I found the image highly variable from station to station, and the format didn’t adapt to the signal as on other sets. Side-by-side comparison with the 32″ Sony revealed just how much you give up by going with the smaller screen and 720p resolution — as well as whatever differences exist between Panasonic and Sony anyway. I was sorry I bought it. Don’t make the same mistake. Either wait for the next generation of 26-inch sets, or be prepared for merely adequate performance.
